MMC Flag Football - 2021
MMC Flag Football is now in it's twelfth year, serving Kindergarten thru 2nd grade children in Middleboro. The aim of the Flag program is to teach children the basics of football at a younger age. Children in this program will enter the Youth Football program at 3rd grade with a wealth of football knowledge. The program not only grows the Youth Football program, it also reaches many children that ordinarily couldn't play.
As much as possible, the Flag players are incorporated into the Full Youth program so that they feel a part of the larger organization. The Flag Program has 6 regular season games followed by playoffs. This, combined with the skills and disciplines learned in the Flag program, will fill your child with confidence and pride! During the season, all games are held on Battis Field (Home of the Cougars, MHS Sachems, and the Semi Pro Cobras).
All practices will be held at the Pierce Playground on either the baseball or softball fields unless otherwise noted in email.
Equipment Required - cleats for better running on grass and a cup if desired
**The following items are NOT allowed on the field:
Hats with bills, hoods of any kind, untucked jerseys, jewelry, sunglasses and hard braces
